The Mackay New Trailer Warranty is validated upon return to Mackay of the Warranty Card completed with the details required.

Mackay requires that the Dealer service the bearings and brakes / brake system, and provide timely written proof of this service to Mackay, if the trailer is sold in the period 6 months after the date of manufacture.

Note: Trailers or parts approved under warranty must be returned to the Mackay Multilink factory or the customer’s local Mackay Dealer. Under no circumstances will any warranty claim be paid without prior authorisation by Mackay Multilink. Mackay Multilink is under no obligation to collect trailers, or repair trailers off site.

Galvanising

The condition of the galvanised finish is governed by the environment in which the trailer is maintained and stored. Deterioration of the galvanizing (and the formation of ‘white rust’) is accelerated in areas of high humidity, poor ventilated storage, high salinity or poor water levels. See the following article for a detailed explanation.

Want to avoid costly breakdowns and delays? Read the Warranty booklet!

Please read the Warranty Booklet accompanying your trailer. It contains valuable recommendations and advice to ensure your trailering experience is hassle free.

It is strongly recommended that your trailer be serviced at least once every year, with brakes and bearings requiring six monthly service attention. This will lengthen the life of the trailer and keep you safe on the road. Checks must be done on all your running gear including bearings, hubs, brakes, wheels and tyres. Your trailer can be serviced at Mackay Multi-Link, your Dealer or any reputable trailer service/repair centre.

The warranty supersedes any prior information in this regard.

(1) The Boat Manufacturer or Dealer can give the Mackay New Trailer Warranty (NTW) to the Consumer within 12 months of the date of
manufacture. The NTW can however be renewed with written authorization from Mackay Multilink, and subject to conditions.
