Our staff are knowledgeable and will always help a customer with trailer advice, or address a particular concern. We provide an expert aftermarket service, including support for warranties, repairs and sales of spare parts. When at times problems do arise, we work quickly to fix them (see below).

With 30 years of trailer design experience, the engineering team can modify or custom design marine trailers to meet any requirement – and have developed trailers for special applications including those of the Defence Force, Police, Antarctica Station, and many others.

To your door – providing total boat and trailer logistics

A core part of our service is coordinating the ‘marriage’ of the boat and trailer, ensuring that the trailer (rollers and skids) is perfectly fitted to the specific shape of the boat (for ease of launching and retrieval), and then delivered to the customer (local or interstate) with minimum fuss.

We coordinate with boat manufacturers, and distributors regarding their boat delivery schedules, unload boats from shipping containers or trucks, and ensure boats are handled with safety and care before they are set up on a trailer. Our aim is to make it simple for you.

Our team are expert in boat handling, and Mackay’s special 4.5 Tonne side shift forklift allows for effective and safe lifting of large boats. We deliver trailer and boat combinations to our customers’ door* and thus always there to assist our customers, or get feedback on any boat and trailer issues that can be improved.

Mackay has facilities and support staff in Melbourne, Adelaide and Mandurah (WA). In other States, we work closely with specialized boat/trailer transport and logistics operators who assist us complete the supply chain.
